The Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) has hired Paula Miller of Clintonville as chief financial officer (CFO).
Miller begins her employment the week of Oct. 7. As CFO, she will be responsible for all financial reporting and the day-to-day management of all business operations within the organization.
Miller comes to CML after nine years at Diamond Innovations Inc., where she most recently served as CFO and treasurer. Prior to her work at Diamond Innovations, she served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer at SARCOM Inc., an IT services provider.
Currently, she is a board director for the Women's Fund of Central Ohio, a philanthropic fund advocating social change for women and girls. She also is active in the North Columbus chapter of Civitan International, a volunteer organization with an emphasis on helping those with developmental disabilities. She previously served on the board of Ohio Special Olympics.
