Mozart's annual holiday gala to support the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center, scheduled for Monday, Dec. 9, is promising to be bigger and better than ever.

The event will be held at Mozart's Bakery and Piano Cafe, 4784 N. High St., from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The bakery has hosted the fundraiser for six years, but this will be its first time at Mozart's new Beechwold location.

This year's version will feature live music, a silent auction and food and beverages from local merchants, including Barley's Brewing Company, Colonial Candy Shoppe, Crimson Cup, Lavash, McCarthy's Wildflower Cafe, Nancy's Home Cooking, Patrick J's, Pattycake Bakery, Portia's Cafe, Talita's and Weiland's Gourmet Market.

All proceeds benefit the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center.

Tickets are available at the CRC's offices, 3222 N. High St. Cost is $50 per person, $90 per couple.

The CRC offers an array of services to the community, from the Choice Food Pantry that has served more than 450 individuals a month this year, to Senior Services, a Kids Club after-school program, Kinship Care, personal finance management and more.
