Clintonville resident Nikki Brown Pyzik has been named donor stewardship manager at the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio.
She has a master's degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University, a certificate in fundraising from the Fundraising School at the Center on Philanthropy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the Ohio State University.
The Furniture Bank of Central Ohio provides free furniture to area families struggling with poverty and other life challenges. Founded in 1998, the Furniture Bank (then known as Material Assistance Providers and later as MAP Furniture Bank) has served more than 45,000 families.
In 2012, it helped more than 4,100 families by providing each with 13 to15 pieces of furniture.
