Volunteers are needed for spring pruning at the Columbus Park of Roses, 3923 N. High St.,from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29.

More than 12,000 roses will be pruned. Meet at the volunteer office at the southern end of the large shelter house. No registration is required.

Dress warmly and bring gloves and garden pruners. Hot beverages and light refreshments will be provided.
