The Apollo Winds will perform at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13.

The Apollo Winds is a professional woodwind quintet from central Ohio that features a saxophone instead of the usual French horn. Its members are Erin Helgeson Torres, flute; Bradley Walsh, oboe; Antonie Clark, clarinet; Michael Rene Torres, alto saxophone; and Scott Hanratty, bassoon.

The quintet will perform a varied program of traditional and contemporary works for winds, including works by Beethoven, Ibert, Arma, Taffanel and Hovhaness. The concert will also feature the world premiere of Pastoral Quartet by Michael Rene Torres.

First UU Church is located at 93 W. Weisheimer Road in Clintonville.
