Clintonville Area Commission Chairman Daniel B. Miller, mindful of both a plethora of guest speakers and a raft of zoning and variance issues scheduled for the August session, has called for a special meeting.
The early meeting, at which the development matters will be addressed, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, in the Whetstone branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 3909 N. High St.
The regular session is scheduled to follow at 7 p.m. or as soon as all four zoning and variance cases have been heard.
“Essentially, two hours wasn’t going to work out,” Miller said July 30.
“The special meeting has been called because of the concern that the commission’s regular August meeting will not provide sufficient time for all of the matters before the commission in August,” he wrote in the announcement.
