A community meeting to discuss the proposed Rusty Bucket restaurant and condominium project at 4109 N. High St. will be held next Thursday, Aug. 28, Clintonville Area Commission District 6 representative Randy Ketcham announced last week.
The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 4131 N. High St., directly across from the proposed location.
Variance requests from the required number of parking spaces, permitted use for the existing zoning, setback requirements and others had been scheduled to come before the CAC at its Aug. 7 meeting, but the matter was delayed until the Sept. 4 session.
"As District 6 commissioner of the Clintonville Area Commission, I called the meeting to give residents of our district and others who have an interest in this project an opportunity to learn more about it, ask questions and voice their opinions," Ketcham wrote in an email announcing the community gathering.
He later announced that representatives from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants/Rusty Bucket as well as the Crawford Hoying real-estate company will attend the meeting.
Members of the CAC's zoning and variance committee are scheduled to discuss and vote on the project Sept. 2 during a meeting at Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Heights Ave.
Committee meetings start at 7:30 p.m.
