• No Story Time will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5 because of Election Day voting at the library.

• No Story Times will be held from Aug. 11 through Aug. 31. Programs will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

• The library will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.

• Open Story Time, for ages birth to 6, 6:30 p.m. Mondays.

• Toddler Story Time, ages 2-3, 10 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

• Picture Book Time, ages 4-6, 10 a.m. Thursdays.

• Baby Time, for ages birth to 24 months, 11 a.m. Thursdays.

• Lunch Bunch, for ages 6-11, noon. On Monday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 30: "Ladybug, Ladybug." Stories and crafts.

• Family Night, 6:30 p.m. On Tuesday, July 29, a Preservation Parks naturalist will present a program on insects and other creatures.

• Adult book discussion, 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 30,"Running with Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs.

• Lunch Bunch, for ages 6-11. "Flutter, Fly and Soar, noon, Monday, Aug. 4 and Wednesday, Aug. 6: "Flutter, Fly and Soar." Flying insects and some high-flying crafts. The Aug. 6 program is the last Lunch Bunch of the summer. Children must bring their own lunches.

• Family Night: "BugFest," End of Summer Reading Club Celebration, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6. Buggy stories, crafts and snacks.

• Teen Advisory Board Meeting, 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 7. Newcomers always welcome.

• Teen Café, 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 14. For ages 12-17.

• Adult book discussion, 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27, "The Shipping News," by Annie Proulx.
