The Preservation Parks levy is a joke. Do people not realize that this has nothing to do with the state parks, metro parks or township parks?

I am an avid outdoorsman and have always enjoyed our park systems and do not mind my tax dollars going toward the parks.

Do people not realize that we are already paying for state parks and township parks out of our property taxes? And quality parks, as well.

Give taxpayers a break. There is nowhere in Delaware County from which you can't get to a great state, metro or township park within 15 minutes. Ask yourself if you have really ever been to one of these Preservation Parks and if not, vote no.

People say they want change, and not raising our taxes for something we already have is a good start.
