The Ohio Wesleyan athletic department has announced that admission to all home games for the men's and women's basketball teams this season will be free.

All home basketball games will be played in Branch Rickey Arena located at 105 S. Sandusky St. A schedule for both teams can be found at bishops.owu.edu/winske.html.

Delaware is selling athletics season passes for all high school and middle-school athletics events. The passes must be purchased in the high school athletics department office between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Veteran fast-pitch umpire Jim Wharton and a staff of instructors will conduct an OHSAA-approve softball umpire class. The class starts Wednesday and runs eight consecutive Wednesdays at Westerville South. Upon completion of course studies and passing a two-part test on the final day, students will attain an OHSAA license for high school fast-pitch softball and then can pay a fee to secure an ASA umpiring license. Capital will conduct the Zenith Volleyball Academy on Sundays through March 1 for boys and girls grades 3-12 at Dublin Jerome High School.
