Hartzler, a 1967 Olentangy High School graduate, grew up on a Berlin Township farm. She and her husband Tom, also an Olentangy graduate, in 1988 moved to the Hocking Hills area of southeastern Ohio, where they operate a log cabin retreat call "Inn a Cabin."

Hartzler's novel is the story of Georgia Mae Brown, an ordinary woman until her husband dies -- in the arms of another woman.

Six weeks later, Georgia slides behind the wheel of her late husband's 1976 Cadillac and drives to Sedona, Ariz., where she begins a new life.

"Three Moons Over Sedona" is published by Rockhouse Publishing in Ohio.
