St. Peter's Episcopal Church for the third consecutive years will offer a Holy Week preaching series as part of the parish's Lenten observance.

Each night during the week before Easter a different preacher will give a homily during a 7 p.m. Communion service.

The series begins Monday, March 29, when Ohio Wesleyan University president Rock Jones speaks. On Tuesday, March 30, Trinity Lutheran Seminary's associate professor of homiletics Hank Langknecht will offer the homily.

Debbie Stokes, an Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio layperson, will speak on Wednesday, March 31. Charles Wilson of St. Peter's will preach on both Maundy Thursday, April 1, and on Good Friday, April 2.

For those who can't attend evening services, or who want to observe Holy Week in a more contemplative way, the parish will offer an outdoor Stations of the Cross on its West Winter Street campus.

The images for the stations were provided by a former parish member who moved to the Southwest United States. Photographs of saguaro cacti were chosen by youth group members who selected images they believe best interpret Jesus' walk to the cross.
