The Delaware Women's City Club will host a yard sale on Friday, Aug. 6 and Saturday, Aug. 7 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, 236 Pennsylvania Ave. in Delaware.

According to a news release, the sale will be the organization's biggest ever, and for that reason was moved from the club's house at 135 N. Franklin St. to the fairgrounds' Arts & Crafts building.

For sale will be furniture, collectibles, housewares, baby items, toys, glassware and new tires, among other items.

Sale hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The club still is accepting donations, which can be dropped off at the Arts & Craft building from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 3 through Aug. 5. Clothing will not be accepted.

Helping with the event are several area businesses. B & L Pack Rats and Storage North, both of Delaware, each donated storage units. Employees from Two Men and a Truck in Westerville donated services to move items to the fairgrounds. The Delaware County Fairgrounds also is a sponsor of the sale.

All sale proceeds will benefit the city club's housing program for low-income, working women.
