ODOT announces U.S. 36 closure

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that on Tuesday, June 28, that U.S. Route 36 will be closed in both directions between Springer Woods and Section Line from 8 a.m. Tuesday to 4 p.m. Thursday for culvert replacement.

The suggested detour is U.S. 36 to Houk Road to state Route 37 to state Route 257 to U.S. 36 or the reverse.

Construction continues on U.S. Route 23, which is reduced to one lane in each direction between Cheshire and Troutman roads from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for pavement repair and bridge work. A 45 mph speed limit will be enforced. Completion date is July 29.
