Eight Delaware County high school seniors have received the Honda/OSU Partnership Math Medal Award from a partnership between Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. and the Ohio State University.

Eight Delaware County high school seniors have received the Honda/OSU Partnership Math Medal Award from a partnership between Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. and the Ohio State University.

The award recognizes and honors the top senior mathematics student in each high school near Honda operations in central and southwest Ohio for their achievements in math courses throughout high school.

Delaware County Math Medal winners and their high schools are Sarah Harp, Delaware Christian School; Joseph Lee, Olentangy Orange High School; Stephen "Blake" Lehman, Hayes High School; Scott Mansfield, Village Academy; Emily McGuinness, Olentangy High School; Nathan Randall, Big Walnut High School; Tara Stout, Buckeye Valley High School; and Oliver Wang, Olentangy Liberty High School.

This is the eighth anniversary of the awards. A total of 138 students, the highest number ever, accepted the award.

Each student received a plaque, a pewter medal, and a $100 gift card from Honda of America Manufacturing and Ohio State University's College of Engineering
