Delaware police reports said five juveniles ran from police after being caught with the fireworks.

A 30-year-old motorist who was reported as a possible drunken driver in the 900 block of Sunbury Road at 11:43 p.m. Aug. 14, was arrested after a short chase.

Reports said officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect continued to flee, eventually crashing.

He was arrested and the case was sent to a grand jury for failure to comply with an officer, according to reports.

Two 16-year-old girls were arrested for receiving stolen property in the area of Neil Street at 5 p.m. Aug. 14.

Reports said the man's vehicle was stopped by officers and he gave false information to avoid being arrested for warrants and driving under suspension.

A victim reported he was approached by a man in the area of East Winter Street and was punched in the face at 4:19 p.m. Aug. 15.

A victim reported he purchased a firearm for $435 via the Internet and never received it Aug. 20 in the 400 block of Chance Court.

A resident of the first block of West Fountain Avenue reported Aug. 17 he was the victim of a scam after he sent money to Portugal to purchase a car that was advertised on Craigslist.

A 39-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs in the first block of Columbus Avenue at 6:31 p.m. Aug. 16, according to reports.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for aggravated menacing in the 600 block of Fern Drive at 10:46 p.m. Aug. 18, reports said.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested for drug abuse in the 500 block of Willis Lane at 10:37 p.m. Aug. 14, according to reports.

The woman had a warrant out for her arrest and officers found heroin in her possession, reports said.

A 51-year-old man was charged with a felony OMVI after he was caught making multiple traffic violations while intoxicated in the area of Wilder Street and U.S. Route 42 North at 6:29 a.m. Aug. 15, according to reports.
