Copper pipes worth $2,665 stolen from basement

Copper pipes worth $2,665.25 were stolen between Dec. 7 and 19 from a residence in the first block of South Franklin Street, Delaware police said.

The thief entered the property and stole the pipes from the basement, according to reports.

A Delaware man said he was robbed at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 17 in the first block of North Sandusky Street.

The victim reported he was walking in an alley when he was robbed by an unknown suspect.

A laptop computer and a portable DVD player, together worth $400, were stolen between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 16 and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 17 from an unlocked vehicle parked outside a residence in the first block of Woodhaul Court, police said.

The responding officer discovered several other vehicles from the surrounding area had been broken into and items stolen during the same night, according to reports.

An Ashley man was arrested after he was caught attempting to steal a coat worth $220 at 5:20 p.m. Jan. 18 from a business in the 900 block of Sunbury Road, police said.

A Delaware man said someone painted both of his vehicles with black spray paint between 3 p.m. Jan. 20 and 11:45 p.m. Jan. 21 while the cars were parked outside his residence in the first block of Trotter's Circle.

Property worth $4,000 was stolen between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 18 from a business in the 600 block of South Sandusky Street, police said.

A Delaware business reported someone damaged a company vehicle between 10:50 a.m. and noon Jan. 18 while it was parked in the 200 block of South Henry Street.

Medicine, cash and a pair of headphones, together worth $100, were stolen between 10:30 p.m. Jan. 21 and 2 p.m. Jan. 22 from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Somerset Road, police said.

The victim reported someone entered the unlocked vehicle parked outside his residence and stole the items.

A Delaware man said someone slashed a tire on his vehicle between 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 21 while it was parked outside his residence in the 200 block of South Washington Street.

Sheriff's reports

Property worth $4,500 was stolen between noon and 2 p.m. Jan. 11 from a residence in the 1800 block of state Route 37 in Delaware, according to Delaware County Sheriff's reports.

The thief entered the residence and stole a TV, a Blu-ray player, a laptop computer and $1,700 in cash, reports said.

A total of $1,150 in cash was stolen between Nov. 27 and Jan. 7 from a residence in the 3000 block of Summerview Place in Galena, according to reports.

The victim reported someone stole a vase filled with coins.

An unidentified thief broke into a residence and stole property between 10 a.m. and 2:41 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 1200 block of North Three B's and K Road in Sunbury, sheriff's reports said.
