High school seniors who will graduate this spring and who have participated in the library's Junior Friends volunteer group or volunteered at the library in some other way can apply for a $500 Junior Friends Scholarship. Applications are available at the Big Walnut High School guidance office or by emailing Fonda Kendrick at dawsonfo@oplin.org. The deadline to apply is April 12.

•What Do You Think? 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. Critical thinking, education and informed citizenship are the group's goals. Meeting topic will be revealed later. Register in advance. Judy and Bruce Denton will host.

•Yoga classes: Gentle Yoga, 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, March 27; Yoga for Beginners and Beyond, 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 27. Cost is $5 per class; pay at the class.

•Better Life Book Club, 7 p.m., Thursday, March 28. The discussion book is The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout. Future books include The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg and The Science of Trust by John Gottman.

•Meet the Authors Night, 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 2. Local authors Sherry Hartzler, Coe Huckabee and Tom Nelson will discuss their books. Free, but advance registration is requested. Refreshments will be offered.

•LEGO Club, 10:30-11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 6. For ages 5-10. We provide the LEGOS; you provide the imagination. Registration required. Free.

•Class for Horse Lovers, 4:30-5:30 p.m., Wednesdays, April 17 and 24 and May 1 and 8. For ages 5-8. Equine enthusiast Kim Rahde will teach riding styles, horse communication, basic grooming and more. Registration required. Free.

•Journal Writing Group, 1 to 2 p.m. each Monday. Write your life story, for yourself or for others. Registration requested.
