The library is looking for young adults interested in joining the Junior Friends of the Library. Projects are based on age, which ranges from high school to students who will complete fifth grade this spring. Ask for a teen volunteer application at the front desk. The deadline to apply is May 11.
• Yoga classes: Gentle Yoga classes meet from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, May 1, 8 and 15; Yoga for Beginners and Beyond classes meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, May 8 and 15. Cost is $5 per class. Pay at the class.
• Class for Horse Lovers, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesdays, May 1 and 8. For ages 5-8. Equine enthusiast Kim Rahde teaches riding styles, horse communication, basic grooming and more. Registration required. Free.
• Basics of Selling on eBay, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 30. Learn how to complete a transaction as a buyer or seller. Class for teens and adults will include creating an eBay account, digital photography, researching the marketplace and USPS shipping services. Bring an item to sell. Cost is $5. Advance registration is required.
• First Thursday Book Group, 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 2. The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien will be discussed. Extra copies are available at the library.
