Harlem Township bike ride helps fund festival

Harlem Township Heritage Inc. will sponsor the third annual Duncan's Run Bike Ride July 6.

The family-friendly event features three rides through Harlem township with lengths of 62, 31 or 15.5 miles.

Riders are supplied with maps of well-marked routes that include rest stops with snacks and beverages. Lunch is included at the end of the ride.

A patch will be given to the first 100 registrants. Early registration can be completed online at or in person from 7 to 9 p.m the day of the ride.

Rides start and end at the shelter house at Community Park in Center Village.

Entry fees are $20 per person, $15 per person for families of three or more, or for seniors.

Duncan's Run Bike Ride helps to support the heritage group's annual Harlem Township Days Festival, which will be held Aug. 17 and 18 at Community Park.
