Old Stone Presbyterian Church in Delaware County will host its annual Ox Roast and Bazaar from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

The family event, which is open to the public, features pit-roasted beef along with various side dishes, beverages and desserts. Carry-out service is available. In addition, a children's carnival and a bazaar featuring a wide selection of homemade baked goods will be offered, and the Old Stone quilting group will raffle off a one-of-a-kind Ohio State quilt.

The ox roast has been an annual tradition at Old Stone for more than 50 years.

A freewill donation will be accepted. Old Stone Pastor Jim DuBois said this year's donations will benefit two mission projects supported by the church -- the Habitat for Humanity Apostle's Build and the Old Stone youth group's 2014 work camp trip.

The church is at 41 Hodges Road, at the intersection of Hodges Road and state Route 37 West. For more information on this year's ox roast, contact Old Stone at 740-369-3548.
