The Big Walnut Area Historical Society will sponsor a Harvest Dinner with Vignettes on Saturday, Nov. 2, in the 1824 Tavern Room at the Myers Inn Museum, 45 S. Columbus St., Sunbury.

The Big Walnut Area Historical Society will sponsor a Harvest Dinner with Vignettes on Saturday, Nov. 2, in the 1824 Tavern Room at the Myers Inn Museum, 45 S. Columbus St., Sunbury.

The 6 p.m. candlelight dinner will include butternut squash soup, roasted Cornish hens with rice pilaf, green beans, homemade rolls, dessert and beverages, all presented by costumed servers.

First-person characterizations of historic people from central Ohio will round out the evening. Roger Roberts will tell of the execution of Wyandot Chief Leatherlips, and Rachel Cring Edwards will share the life of Victoria Woodhull.

Seating is limited to 30 people and reservations are required. Call Damon at 740-745-4375.

The Myers Inn Museum is open from noon to 3 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is by donation.
