Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association, 35th annual conference, Affirming Our Roots, Breaking New Ground, Feb. 14-16 at the Granville Middle and High schools. Delaware General Health District, Healthy U course on Chronic Disease Self-Management, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 15 through Feb. 19 at the Center for Older Adults, 800 Cheshire Road in Delaware. This free workshop is geared toward those specifically dealing with diabetes, asthma, arthritis, heart disease and other lifelong conditions. Subjects covered include techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, pain and depression; exercise; medication use and nutrition. Participants will receive a copy of the companion book, Living a Healthy Life With Chronic Conditions, and those who complete all six sessions will receive a Kroger gift card.
