Methodist Theological School in Ohio Schooler Institute on Preaching, featuring Mark Kelly Tyler and Timothy Eberhart, Feb. 10 and 11 at 3081 Columbus Pike, Delaware. Tyler is senior pastor of the Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Philadelphia and a fully affiliated faculty member at MTSO. Connections Volunteer Center, a program of HelpLine, will offer the workshop "Surviving Workplace Violence," 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Jan. 30. National Alliance on Mental Illness of Delaware and Morrow Counties, NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group, 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at 325 S. Sandusky St., Suite 301, Delaware. This support group, for people living with a mental illness, will be facilitated by trained volunteers who also live with a mental illness.
