Three arrested in Delaware on robbery charges

Delaware police have arrested three Delaware men in connection with a January stabbing — including the man who was stabbed.

Police responded to a report of a stabbing at about 6:15 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 100 block of North Sandusky Street and located Braxden J. Hill, who had been wounded. Hill said someone had approached him on the sidewalk, demanded money and stabbed him when he did not comply, police said.

Delaware police Capt. Adam Moore said evidence indicated the stabbing actually took place at a nearby apartment. He said police investigated and determined Hill, 23, of 72 High St., was stabbed while trying to commit a robbery with two accomplices.

Hill was assisted in the attempted robbery by Corey J. Armstrong, 23, of 337 Lake St., and Devon T. Tosco, 18, of 123 Hills-Miller Road, police said. The three suspects were arrested Feb. 3 on robbery charges and likely will face additional charges stemming from the incident, Moore said.

A juvenile suspect also was arrested following the incident and charged with complicity after helping to plan the robbery attempt, Moore said.
