Police responded to a report of a robbery in progress about 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, at United Dairy Farmers, 123 W. William St.
An employee reported a man in his 40s or 50s entered the store, implied he had a gun and demanded money. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Delaware Police Department.
Police described the suspect as a black man of average build who was wearing a winter hat, a blue winter jacket with a horizontal white stripe and a red hooded sweatshirt.
The employee and a customer were unharmed in the incident, police say.
