Local farmer wins, donates $2,500 to Delaware County 4-H

Radnor farmer Connie Thomas has donated $2,500 to the Delaware County 4-H program. Funded by America's Farmers Grow Communities, the donation will support 4-H educational programs, provide supplies for camps and direct a portion to scholarship funds and other programs.

"We have been 4-H advisers for many, many years and love being involved in what they do," Thomas was quoted as saying in a news release.

America's Farmers  Grow Communities works directly with farmers to support nonprofit organizations such as the Delaware County 4-H, according to the news release. The program offers farmers the chance to win $2,500, which is donated to the farmer's nonprofit of choice.
