Ohio State University Alumni Club of Delaware County, BuckeyeBlast, 6:30 p.m. April 8 at the Brookshire Banquet Facility, 405 Greif Parkway. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for this third annual scholarship fundraising banquet. Jon Waters, director of Ohio State's marching band, will be the featured speaker. There will be a pasta bar, which will include several pasta and sauce options, salad and dessert along with a cash bar. Other features include a silent auction with OSU merchandise and OSU football tickets. The banquet is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their Buckeye attire. Cost is $45 for adults, $5 for children 10 and under. There are options to purchase a full table for 10 people for $400 or half table for five people for $200.
Big Walnut Area Historical Society, presentation of the DVD Making History One day at a Time in Delaware County, 7:30 p.m. April 8, at the Myers Inn, northwest corner of South Columbus and Granville streets.
