A Delaware man has been arrested on felonious assault and attempted murder charges after he allegedly stabbed an Ohio Wesleyan University student last weekend.
Police arrested Nicholas Corey Lee Eber, 23, of Delaware early Thursday afternoon, May 8. Eber allegedly stabbed an OWU student in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 3, at the student’s residence in the 200 block of North Franklin Street.
Physical evidence collected at the crime scene and witness statements led police to Eber, according to a news release from the Delaware Police Department. Eber was booked at the Delaware County Jail about 2:15 p.m. May 8.
The student Eber is accused of stabbing was flown to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus shortly after the attack. The victim was released from the hospital later that weekend.
