Garden tour set for June 22

The Women's City Club of Delaware will hold its annual garden tour from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 22.

Eight gardens will be featured, and for the first time this year, members of the Delaware County Master Gardeners Club will be on hand in each garden to answer visitors' questions.

Tickets for the tour are $10 in advance and $12 on the day of the tour. A package of 10 tickets can be purchased for $75. Children 12 and younger may tour the gardens for free.

Tickets may be purchased at any of the following Delaware County businesses: Oakland Nursery, Global Village, Fundamentals bookstore, Endangered Species record store and online at wccdelaware.org.

The tour is self-guided and starts at the Women's City Club, 135 N. Franklin St. The tour is sponsored by Better Homes and Gardens/Big Hill.

All of the profits from the tour will help the club continue to provide safe housing to low-income women in Delaware County.
