Vintage cars roll into town for 'Blast from the Past' show

The 21st Blast from the Past Car Show, sponsored by the Vintage Auto Club of Delaware, will take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 26.

The show will take place on Sandusky Street between Harrison Street and Central Avenue.

More than 700 vintage vehicles will be featured along with food vendors and live music.

Sandusky Street will be closed to traffic at 6 a.m. July 26. Other street closings include West Winter Street to the alley next to Bun's Restaurant; East Winter Street to the city parking lot exit; and Spring Street to the NAPA store. William Street will not be closed.

Admission is free. All proceeds from the cruise-in benefit Home Reach Hospice at Grady Memorial Hospital. The show has generated more than $200,000 for Hospice at Grady since its inception.

The annual Delaware Main Street farmers market will be held at its regular time -- 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. -- but in a different location, in front of City Hall.
