Delaware’s Wolfe signs with Ashland
Connor Wolfe, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound two-way lineman for the Delaware Hayes High School football team, has signed to play for Ashland University.
Wolfe, who is expected to play on the offensive line with the Eagles, was among a 39-member recruiting class for Ashland, an NCAA Division II school.
The Eagles, who play in the South Division of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, finished 6-5 last season for eight-year coach Lee Owens.
Delaware went 3-7 overall and 2-5 in the OCC-Capital Division last fall in Zebb Schroeder’s first season as coach.
