The search for the next principal at Olentangy High School is down to three candidates.

They are Randy Wright, a current assistant principal at OHS; Robert Hill, principal at Grove City High School; and Tom McDonald, an assistant principal at Dublin Jerome High School.

They were selected after interviews with a slate of six candidates, said Olentangy's interim superintendent, Jenny Hooie.

"These three very strong candidates met with OHS students and faculty this past week and will be interviewed by a community forum next week," Hooie told school board members in her weekly update.

The community forum includes three at-large parents, three athletic booster parents, three music booster parents, the three high school principals, three central office administrators, three teachers and three board members.

The final round of interviews will take place sometime next week, and one finalist should emerge, Hooie said.

She expects to make a final recommendation to the board at its May 13 meeting.
