Claude Dixon from the WineMakers Guild presents "Red? Or White?" at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25. The class will provide information on how wine is made and the variety of wines that are available. Participants learn how to pair wines with a variety of foods.

"In the Mood: A Big Band Dance Party," featuring the music of The Swing Machine, a 17-piece band that performs big band favorites by Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Count Basie and Duke Ellington, will be held from 7:30 to 10 p.m. July 11 at the Dublin Community Recreation Center. The Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra will perform during intermission.

Those looking for an end-of-summer getaway can travel with DCSC from Sept. 15-23 on a trip to "Discover Amazing Bavaria." The trip to Germany will include the Bavarian backcountry and the cities of Würzburg, Weikersheim and Rothenburg. Informational brochures for the trip are available in the senior lounge.

If Bavaria is too far, take the bus to Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg, Ind., on Wednesday, July 16. The trip will include a lunch buffet and four hours of gaming time.
