Dublin police arrested and charged a 19-year-old Columbus man with breaking into La Chatelaine, 65 W. Bridge St. Jeffrey M. Collins, a former employee at the restaurant, was charged with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony. According to a release, police suspect Collins broke into La Chatelaine late Sunday or early Monday, Jan. 18-19. An undisclosed amount of cash and a large-screen television were stolen, police said.

A vehicle was stolen from the 6000 block of Perimeter Lakes Drive between 6:45 and 7:05 a.m. Jan. 16. The victim started the car to warm it up and when she returned it had been stolen.

A purse was stolen when left unattended in a bathroom of a business in the 3800 block of Tuller Road around 12:15 p.m. Jan. 17.

Paintballs were shot at a vehicle and garage of a residence in the 4200 block of Bryson Cove Circle between 10 p.m. Jan. 16 and midnight Jan. 17.

A purse and its contents were stolen from a woman while at a business in the 7600 block of Sawmill Road between 7:45 and 8 p.m. Jan. 17.

Windows were smashed on two vehicles parked in the 5600 block of Adventure Drive between 10:30 and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 18. The vehicles are were dented.

A lock was broken and several tools were stolen from a construction site in the 4100 block of Stonebridge Lane between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 16 and 8 a.m. Jan. 19.

A license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Cramer Creek Court between 9:30 a.m. Jan. 2 and 5 p.m. Jan. 16.

A vehicle was dented while parked in the 200 block of Monterey Drive between 11 p.m. Jan. 16 and 7 a.m. Jan. 17.

A purse and its contents were stolen while the victim was visiting a business in the 6600 block of Perimeter Drive between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. Jan. 20.

A cash drawer containing more than $300 was stolen from a business in the 4300 block of Tuller Road between 10:39 and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 20. Police responded to an alarm at the business and found the door smashed and the items missing.

Items valued at more than $1,000 were stolen from a residence in the 5500 block of Rings Road between noon Jan. 20 and 7 a.m. Jan. 21.

A vehicle parked in the 5700 block of Murray Circle was broken into and a gym bag was stolen between 11 p.m. Jan. 20 and 8 a.m. Jan. 21.

Police found two laptops and other items stolen from a business in the 5900 block of Shier Rings Road when they responded to an alarm between 9:30 and 10:10 p.m. Jan. 20.
