The artwork of several Dublin high school students received awards at the 2009 Central Ohio Regional Scholastic Art competition.

The artwork of several Dublin high school students received awards at the 2009 Central Ohio Regional Scholastic Art competition.

According to a release from the school district, the competition recognizes creative students and offers scholarship opportunities.

Dublin students who earned honors include: Coffman students Andrea Chu, Ian Clutter, Auston DuPree, Brandon White and Efrain Zepeda; Jerome students Hannah Faust and Jordan Mills; and Scioto students Yezen Abusharkh, Lara Al-Soudan, Alexis Benford, Carly Bragg, Lee Brown, Abigail Campa, Sarah Coughlin, Caitlyn DeLauter, Ashley Dinan, Shep Haines, Troy Hervey, Elisabeth Jancino, Chloe Johnson, Tyler Joseph, Katherine Lempke, Misaki Mihori, Bruce Montes, Kisara Onuma, Corissa Piatka and Jay Stern.

Silver key winners include: Coffman student Emilla Radziszewski and Scioto students Carly Bragg, Sarah Coughlin, Caitlyn DeLauter, Audrey Kromer, Laura Roone and Abigail Ubaldo-Monzalvo.

Some students also took gold key and best of show awards. The artwork of those students will be sent to New York City for judging and possible inclusion in a national exhibition. Those students are: Coffman student Dan Foley; Jerome student Jed Jackson; and Scioto students Yezen Abusharkh, Kathrine Barnhardt, Ashley Cameron, Nicole Claypool, Sarah Coughlin, Caitlyn DeLauter, Ashley Dinan, Colin Fankhauser, Erica Feld, Alexa Hunt, Elisabeth Jancino, Samantha McGlone,Stephanie Meister, Misaki Mihori, Hannah Reagh, Laura Rooney, Tony Salomone, Jay Stern, Leslie Stoshak and Nina Zalenski.

Scioto students Caitlyn DeLauter, Fatima Kadi and Misaki Mihori were art portfolio winners, and Erica Feld and Stephanie Meister were best of show winners.
