The Dublin school board named a new principal for Coffman High School and a new assistant principal for Scioto High School during its meeting Tuesday night.

The Dublin school board named a new principal for Coffman High School and a new assistant principal for Scioto High School during its meeting Tuesday night.

The board unanimously approved Mike Ulring as Dublin Coffman's new principal. Ulring has worked at Coffman since 1993 as a math teacher, baseball coach and attendance administrator. He also has served as an assistant principal for the last nine years.

Ulring will succeed Tracey Miller, who has been appointed director of secondary education, beginning in August.

The school board also named Erica Dodson assistant principal for Dublin Scioto. Dodson has spent the past two years as Reynoldsburg High School's assistant principal.

Both contracts begin Aug. 1.
