A residential development is planned for 39.8 acres that Dublin City Council approved annexing from Jerome Township last week.

The land is located along the west side of Hyland-Croy Road, north of Mitchell-DeWitt Road.

According to Dublin planning manager Gary Gunderman, the land is zoned residential and will house a medium-density development of 25 to 40 single-family residences.

Council first heard the annexation, requested by Celtic Capital, in March. The deal was stalled by an annexation agreement with Jerome Township, but an agreement was eventually made with Celtic Capital to pay Jerome Township reparations in taxes lost from the land annexed to Dublin.
