A stereo CD player was taken from the dash of a vehicle parked at a residence in the 5700 block of Heathstead Drive between 5 p.m. Sept. 18 and 4:24 a.m. Sept. 20. According to police reports, a window was broken to get into the unlocked vehicle. Several other vehicles were broken into in the same area over the same time, and items including stereos, GPS units and tools were stolen.

A GPS unit and stereo faceplate were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 5400 block of Briardale Lane between 10:45 p.m. Sept. 19 and 9 a.m. Sept. 20. A window of the vehicle was broken to gain entry.

The window of a vehicle parked in the 5400 block of Aubrey Loop was smashed and a wallet, CD player and other items were stolen between 2 and 8:51 a.m. Sept. 20.

A home in the 5000 block of Winchell Court was broken into between 10:38 and 10:48 p.m. Sept. 21. According to police reports, the homeowner saw five or six suspects and "subdued" one in the basement.

Four tires and rims, valued at $4,000, were stolen from a vehicle parked at a business in the 3800 block of Tuller Road. The vehicle was set on blocks.

According to police reports, $25 was stolen from a purse while the victim was at Coffman High School, 6780 Coffman Road.

Checks, credit cards, a passport, duffel bag and other items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8100 block of Davington Drive between 12:01 a.m. Sept. 5 and 12:01 a.m. Sept. 10.

A Ford Ranger and cell phone were stolen from a parking lot in the 4200 block of West Dublin-Granville Road between 7:30 and 9:57 p.m. Sept. 12.

A bicycle, valued at $150, was stolen from a residence in the 5700 block of Sells Mill Drive between 8:20 and 9:50 p.m. Sept. 12.

A briefcase, GPS unit and other items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence in the 8800 block of Davington Drive between 9 p.m. Sept. 13 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 14. Police said they recovered some of the items when they apprehended a suspect.

A pair of shoes and a BB gun were stolen from a business in the 6200 block of Sawmill Road at 1:48 p.m. Sept. 14.

A home in the 7000 block of Avery Road was broken into and wine and liquor were stolen between 12:01 a.m. Aug. 12 and 3:58 p.m. Sept. 14. According to police reports, nothing else was stolen during the burglary, but a waterbed was damaged.

Breaking and entering was reported at a business in the 6300 block of Emerald Parkway between 8 and 8:15 p.m. Sept. 14. Police reports said spare change was stolen from several desks.

An iPod was stolen from an unsecured purse at Coffman High School, 6780 Coffman Road, between 12:55 and 1:38 p.m. Sept. 15.
