The Dublin Coffman High School marching band will wrap up another year with the Ohio Music Education Association state finals Saturday in its own backyard.

The Dublin Coffman High School marching band will wrap up another year with the Ohio Music Education Association state finals Saturday in its own backyard.

Coffman High School will host the state finals after winning several awards at competitions. According to a news release, the band earned two grand champion awards at contests in Worthington and Canal Winchester. It also took honors as the highest scoring band at an Oct. 3 competition at Ohio Stadium.

In addition to several "outstanding" awards, the Coffman marching band also placed seventh overall and third in its class during an Oct. 17 show that featured 20 bands from seven states.

The band's show this year is "Morning, Noon and Night (mare)."
