Kerry Hurff of Dublin has joined Safelite Group as the company's marketing director.

Kerry Hurff of Dublin has joined Safelite Group as the company's marketing director.

Hurff comes to Safelite Group from Cardinal Health, where he served as director of marketing for scientific products.

Previously, he was director of marketing and business development for Golden Oval Eggs' Walmart division. In his 20-year career, he has managed consumer-packaged goods marketing and brand development for companies such as Novartis, Abbott Labs, Borden Inc., H.J. Heinz Co. and Quaker Oats.

Hurff earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Rachel Dean, an Allstate Insurance agency owner in Dublin, has been chosen to join a group of 33 agency owners and personal financial representatives from Indiana, Michigan and Ohio who serve on Allstate Insurance Co.'s North Central Regional Advisory Board.

The North Central Regional Advisory Board was formed in 2004 to create a working partnership between the region's senior leadership and select agency owners and personal financial representatives to develop mutually beneficial strategies that contribute to the growth of the region and its agency force.

Dean has been associated with Allstate for six years.
