The second annual Dublin Community Blood Drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Dublin Community Recreation Center, 5600 Post Road.

The second annual Dublin Community Blood Drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Dublin Community Recreation Center, 5600 Post Road.

Residents 16 and older can schedule an appointment online at bloodsaveslives.org. Walk-ins also will be accepted. Anyone ages 16 and 17 willing to donate must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found online.

The Brass Band of Columbus will play a Sunday concert at Scioto Park, 7377 Riverside Drive.

The July 4 concert is part of the Dublin Arts Council's Sundays at Scioto concert series and runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The free concert series is held every Sunday evening until July 25.

The Brass Band of Columbus includes more than 30 active and retired music educators, and has received several awards. The concert will feature patriotic songs.

Personal pizzas, ice cream and root beer floats will be sold during the free concert; proceeds will benefit the arts council.

Marching bands from across the country will bring the Drum Corps International tour to Dublin next week.

A performance slated for 7 p.m. July 7 at Coffman High School Stadium, 6780 Coffman Road, with feature eight marching bands in "Artistry in Motion."

Bands performing include: Canton's Bluecoats; Carolina Crown of Ft. Mill, S.C.; The Cavaliers of Rosemont, Ill.; Teal Sound of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Cincinnati's Cincinnati Tradition.

Parking is free. Tickets range in price from $15 to $25 and can be purchased online at emeraldcitygames.org.
