Dublin Scioto High School junior Jilliana Howse won the best of show award for grades 9 to 12 at the Dublin Arts Council student exhibit "emerging."

Howse's self portrait "Reflections," won the top award and juror Benjamin Knepper called it "a thoughtful asymmetrical composition with a wide variety of shapes and sizes."

For the "emerging" exhibit, Dublin students submitted artwork to exhibit and/or sell their artwork.

This year's exhibit featured 50 pieces of work from 29 students. The exhibit was on display during August and September.
