The Dublin Jerome High School theater department recently announced shows for the 2010-11 school year.

The theater season will begin in October with "Moon Over Buffalo," a comedy about an acting couple on tour in Buffalo, NY, in 1953. The show will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 to 16. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.

The theater department will offer a drama camp for students in grades 1 to 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 6. Campers will perform in "Alice in Wonderland," which is slated to run at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 to 20 and 2 p.m. Nov. 20.

Tickets to the late November show, "Alice in Wonderland" are $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.

The Jerome Drama Club will present the musical "Les Miserables," based on Victor Hugo's book of the same title Feb. 17 to 19. Tickets to the musical that follow the wrongly imprisoned Jean Valjean are $10 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.

In April the drama club is set to stage student-directed one-act plays at 7:30 p.m. April 7 to 9. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.

The theater season will end with the April 27 to 29 run of "Dessert Theatre," which features interactive theater and desserts. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
