The breakfast will include coffee, juice, sausage and pancakes.

Breakfast is $5 and all you can eat; children ages 4 and under can eat free of charge.

The Scioto High School Marching Band earned second and fifth at a competition that featured 35 bands from Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio last Saturday. At the Mason competition, the band placed second in its class and fifth overall out of 35 marching bands.

The Scioto marching band will perform in OMEA state marching band finals on Nov. 5 and Mid-States Championships on Nov. 6.

The Scottish Corners Elementary Club worked on sorting and delacing athletics shoes for Dublin's Make a Difference Day recently.

The 65 member club consisting of third-, fourth- and fifth-graders worked on 300 shoes for the recycling project, which will be used for playgrounds and cushioning under gym floors.

Club members also worked on landscaping around the school and planted bulbs.

During the school year, the club will again recycle juice pouches for 2 cents per pouch; the club gave proceeds to the Partners in Conversation project to help people and gorillas in Rwanda last year.

The Oxford School of Powell will add enrichment and tutoring services to its location at 6065 Glick Road in Shawnee Hills.

The school will open the Oxford Tutoring and Enrichment Center, offering educational classes for local residents of all ages. Offerings will include private tutoring, foreign language and ESL classes, state test preparation, college application assistance, first aid, dance and music classes. It offers child care and pre-school and pre-kindergarten education.
