Columbus Police arrested Pamela J. Webb of Chicago Wednesday.

The Dublin Police Department recently issued a warrant for Webb's arrest in connection with thefts from purses at the Perimeter Loop Road Panera Bread and Jason's Deli at 225 W. Bridge St. in September.

According to information from Dublin web administrator Bruce Edwards, the Columbus Police Department located Webb when a local Best Buy notified police of an attempted use of a stolen credit card. Webb was stopped by Columbus Police on Interstate 270 near Cleveland Avenue and taken into custody.

Webb was charged with identity fraud, a fourth-degree felony, misuse of credit cards and receiving stolen property, both fifth-degree felonies.

Columbus Det. John Majcher will continue a multi-agency investigation because Webb is suspected of being involved in other similar thefts, Edwards said.
