A Columbus resident was struck by a vehicle in Historic Dublin Tuesday evening.

Stephanie Auer, 44, was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of North and North High streets shortly before 7 p.m. Dec. 28, a release from the city said.

Auer was taken to Dublin Methodist Hospital and then went to the Ohio State University Medical Center via med flight, the release said. Auer remains in critical condition.

The city installed special signage late last year to call attention to the crosswalk at the intersection of North and North High Street near the Dublin branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Two signs with flashing lights were installed to notify drivers of a pedestrian crossing.

The incident remains under investigation.
