The church at 7179 Avery Road began the $4-million renovation project in December and plans to dedicate the new renovations and expansion Jan. 30, with Mass led by the Rev. Frederick F. Campbell, bishop of the Columbus Diocese. A reception will follow in Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks Hall.

The renovations included a 500-seat addition to the church's sanctuary, bringing seating to 1,500. Work also included restrooms and improvements to the narthex and narthex kitchen.

St. Brigid of Kildare Church serves more than 3,200 families and was established in 1987.
