The MOMS Club of Powell-Northwest is seeking children's items to sell in its first consignment sale.

The MOMS Club of Powell-Northwest is seeking children's items to sell in its first consignment sale.

The sale will take place Saturday, April 9 at the Powell United Methodist Church, 825 E. Olentangy St. Consigners will be asked to drop off their items at the church on Friday, April 8.

The fee to participate as a consigner is $10, which is non-refundable. Consigners will receive 90 percent of their total sales.

The consigner fee and remaining 10 percent of sales will be donated to two charities: The Ronald McDonald House and the MOMS Club's Mom to Mom Fund, which helps families in need.

Acceptable items include gently used toys, spring and summer kids' clothes (through size 8), books, CDs and DVDs, shoes, nursing and feeding supplies, outdoor play toys and equipment, blankets, linens, nursery dcor and furniture, high chairs, bouncers, strollers, pack-and-plays, swings and car seats.

Each consigner and a guest will be permitted to shop the sale during a preview on Friday, April 8.

For shoppers, the consignment sale will run from 8 a.m. to noon on April 9, and then reopen for a 50-percent off sale from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

The entry fee is $1 per person and 100 percent of that will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House and the Mom to Mom Fund.

This is a cash only sale, and all sales are final.
