A computer and electronics recycling event to benefit Habitat for Humanity-Columbus will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at TechUsed Computer Recycling's new location at 3820 Zane Trace Drive.

A computer and electronics recycling event to benefit Habitat for Humanity-Columbus will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at TechUsed Computer Recycling's new location at 3820 Zane Trace Drive.

Items can be dropped off for free, either to be rebuilt for discounted resale or environmentally recycled. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Habitat families.

TechUsed will accept computers, printers, computer equipment, wires and other small household electronics for recycling. A $10 fee is required to recycle tube televisions.TechUsed will securely destroy all data files on donated equipment as a part of recycling and refurbishing to ensure the privacy of any stored information.

TechUsed is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for donation drop-offs of electronic equipment.
